Walk Beside Me Learning is an LDS gospel based homeschool curriculum built on the foundation of the scriptures, giving the child a sense of who he is and setting him on the path of discovering his divine mission. It is presented in a four year chronological rotation, integrating all areas of study to create a clear picture of the history of our world. Our curriculum has been used in faith-based private schools around the world – schools such as Experius International Academy.
Walk Beside Me Learning is not a general Christian curriculum. Our lessons combine to present a world history from pre-earth life to today. However, our focus is on the principles and doctrines of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We use the Book of Mormon, together with other standard works, to reinforce basic gospel concepts for increased faith, growth, and learning. Our goal is to strengthen the testimonies of the children and youth of the Church and to lead them to Jesus Christ.
This curriculum is a culmination of more than thirty years of research and education experience from parents and professional educators. It is more than just a curriculum. It is a learning system that guides a child to gain confidence in his/her own ability to become an independent self-learner.
